How to Connect Power Input to IRD7200 MST?
IRD7200 with 24V DC Power InputIRD7200 is a 2 Channel Din Rail mounted Vibration Transmitter. It provides 4-20 mA output, 0-5 V DC Output and Buffered Time Waveform output. It can be Powered by 24 V DC, 0.5 A Power Input or 230 V AC, 50/60 Hz, Single Phase Power Input (pre-defined at the time of ordering).
The more common option is 24 V DC, 0.5 A Power Input. It has dedicated Screw Terminals for the same on its bottom half (as shown in the picture). The +ve as well as Ground or -ve wires of the Power Input should have cord end terminals/lugs (spade lugs) so that the same can be tightened within the Screw Terminals at their correct places.

L+ and L- terminals are internally looped to + and - terminals of the 24 V DC Power Input - this allows for easy looping of Power to more IRD7200 transmitters when they are mounted adjacent to each other

IRD7200 is protected from Reverse Polarity with the help of a Diode - which prevents flow of current and thereby Power when reverse power input connection is inadvertently done (-24 V DC connected wrongly in place of correct +24 V DC)
