What is the purpose of key phasor module in vibration monitoring system? Can it be used to extract balancing data?
The purpose of the Key Phasor module in a Vibration Monitoring System is to act as the reference point for phase on a machine train. Using this reference point, the vibration phase of other sensors on the machine train can be deduced.
Usually the Keyphasor sensor is a non contact eddy current type probe.
Further, this phase information can be used to extract balancing data, but a software with the capability to extract such data is required to do the same.
