IRD811D Vibration Meter and Bearing Checker uses 1 or 2 x 9V Drycell batteries (depending on the year and month of manufacture - models manufactured pre May 2024 use 2 Batteries whereas models manufactured post May 2024 use 1 Battery). These batteries are typically 210 mAh each and can be rechargeable or non-rechargeable.

IRD811D has Low Battery Indication for when the Battery Voltage drops below 8.2 V DC. We recommend using Battery that has voltage between 8.2 V DC and 11.2 V DC for optimal performance of the meter
