Sensitivity Options in IRD8800 Module M88250

IRD8800 Series is an API 670 Compliant Machinery Protection System (MPS). It's module M88250 is used for Casing Vibration Monitoring and Protection paired with IRD544M Sensor.

IRD544M sensors are designed for Nominal Sensitivity 42.52 mV/mm/sec +/- 10%. To accomodate for the variation in nominal sensitivity - module M88250 has the facility to set sensitivity to each Channel (M88250 is a 2 Channel Module). So, if the sensitivity of IRD544M as per its Calibration Certificate is 41.22 mV/mm/sec - then M88250 sensitivity can be set to 41.22 mV/mm/sec to minimise error in measurement.

The sensitivity in M88250 can be set between 0.00 and 99.99 mV/mm/sec and the module will show proper linearity in this Sensitivity Range
