M88250 Factory Calibration

M88250 is our Casing Vibration Module for our Inductive Velocity Sensor IRD544M. It measures Vibration Amplitude either in Displacement or Velocity. We commit an accuracy of +/- 1% of Full Scale for this Dual Channel Vibration Measurement Card. To check whether or not the card is calibrated, we perform the following:
  1. Insert the Card into a IRD8800 Rack
  2. Provide the Rack/Card with the rated power supply (230 V AC or 24 V DC as specified)
  3. Connect the input to a Function Generator
  4. Provide an Input of Frequency 100 Hz and Amplitude 468 mV RMS from the Function Generator
  5. Observe the Display and 4-20 mA output on the M88250 card. To observe 4-20 mA output, we use a Multimeter
If the card is calibrated, then at sensitivity setting of 42.42 mV/mm/sec, it should read 15.6 mm/sec peak +/- 1% and for a full scale of 150 mm/sec peak it should display 4-20 mA output of 5.664 mA +/- 1%
