IRD306 Analog Vibration Meter with 25 mV/mm/sec Velometer
IRD306 Analog Vibration Meter can be factory set for different types of Velometers. The velometers supported are:
- IRD531 4 mV/mm/sec
- IRD531 25 mV/mm/sec
- IRD544 42.52 mV/mm/sec
In this article we focus on IRD306 Analog with IRD531 25 mV/mm/sec. The meter is able to measure vibration velocity in mm/sec peak and displacement in microns peak-peak. There is a rotary knob which has the range positions 3, 10, 30, 100, 300, 1000, 3000, Battery Test and OFF. When knob is rotated - the meter display needle first acknowledges the change and then settles to the expected/observed value within the 3 seconds settling time of the sensor and meter. So, please wait for at least 5 seconds after setting toggle switch and range knob to note your readings.
