Can we connect external display to Loop Powered Vibration Sensor IRD591 or IRD5420?
IRD591 as well as IRD5420 are Loop Powered Vibration Sensors that provide 4-20 mA output proportional to a fixed full scale range of Vibration. Many a times - IRD591 or IRD5420 are preferred over Wall mounted transmitters like IRD7100 or Rack mounted systems IRD8800 due to their low cost. But, IRD591 or IRD5420 do not come with in-built display. It is however possible to still have a display near the sensor using Loop Powered Displays. The scheme below shows how a Loop Powered display is connected to a Power Supply/DCS/PLC/SCADA and IRD591 or IRD5420.
